In this phonics pack are some resources and powerpoints that you can use to support your children / pupils with developing their phase 2 and phase 3 phonics. 
 
The pack includes:
 
Phase 2
Game Powerpoint: Blankety blank CVC CCVCC words: words and pictures, segment the word and guess the missing letter. 
CVC picture writing frames.
Peg the inital sound game
Phase 2 segment and blend powerpoint: each letter is revealed one at a time. Say the sound for each letter, blend at the end and then reveal the picture. 
 
Phase 2/3:
Game: break the code: say the first sound of each picture, write the the letter, what word have you made?
Game: Blankety Blank: high frequency words: read the sentence, which word best fits the blank?
Game: Who said it anyway? Read the caption and use the clues from the caption to guess who owns the speech bubble
Resource: phase 2 and 3 picture cards to practise segmenting for writing, with finger prompts. 
 
Phase 3
5 'Missing Digraph' powerpoint game powerpoints covering all of phase 3, in a progressive format. 
2  Blankety Blank Comprehension reading powerpoints: read the sentence and guess the missing word by using the clues from the sentence/ picture.
